The "12 Dialogs for Violoncello and Double Bass" which were written by the Austrian composer Fritz Leitermeyer occupie a central place on the second CD of my former ensemble DUO ROSSINI. To these, we added some attractive classical pieces, and, as a contrast, the "Duo for Bassoon and Double Bass" by Albert Roussel, the bassoon part of which we arranged for violoncello.
