Beijing / Shanghai
I gave masterclasses for students of the Conser- vatory and also taught in Shanghai for a few days as the guest of Prof. Chao Hui. Of course artistic concerns took precedence. However there was also an opportunity to get to know the country and its people a little, to gain some insight into its culture and, most especially, to enjoy the simply amazing diversity of Chinese cuisine. My heartfelt thanks to my hosts. I hope that this first contact will lead to a lively exchange.
